Our Purpose

This is a blog that keeps you up to date at home with trends in web/graphic designs, home remodeling, various life style topics, and inspiring SAHM challenges. This is my journey on how I’m trying to convert my corporate working career to being a SAHM (stay at home mom) and doing what I love, which is designing and tweaking websites. I love making things look pretty on the internet, and I love creating designs for fabric to paper.

Our Inspiration

Our inspiration came from family, friends, and coworkers. After 10 years of their suggestions, advice, and ideas, we finally have finally decided to step up to the plate and listen to them. Hence, this website was born. Our knowledge comes from a background in graphic design, lots and lots of searching the internet, and parental figures for their constant remodeling projects. I suppose the constant love for HGTV has helped too.

Who We Are

The owner of Fall For Design is a Wife, Mother, Jesus Lover and a Graphic Designer. When she’s not doing the laundry, dishes, cleaning or chasing one toddler while feeding another, she likes to be on the computer doing what she loves. Her talents are with textiles and website design.

The support of Fall For Design is a Husband, a Jesus Lover, a plastic card guru, and a wannabe Professional Money Maker Couch Potato. He likes to shop, has a knack for decorating and is a REALLY good painter (as in painting the inside of a house). He also has several ideas and likes to contribute to the blog here and there.

Together we are Autumn (29) & Jeremiah (30) and our two little baby girls Chloe and Emme. We reside in Springfield, Missouri.

The Fall For Design Process

Fall For Design was hand coded by the owner with fabulous support from her husband. We are hosted by our lovely partner in crime, Lougan and the IRB Media Network. The Content Management System is WordPress and the design structure is built around the Thesis theme.
